“The Fiji Market Place”

In the early days, the Market Place was an important venue for meetings, discussions on farming, business deals, traditional and cultural ceremonies or to extent of match-making for marriages.

Deals were concluded here with business associates, friends and families with a handshake and for long term relationship.
The Fiji Islands over the years developed its tourism and customer services in the same spirit. All Fiji peoples culture, traditions and smiles makeup the “Fiji Market Place”.

This evening we have recreated the settings of the Market Place with an atmosphere where you discuss business opportunities in a casual and relaxed mood, whilst enjoying the cultural shows of Fiji.

Included in your ketiketi (traditional basket) are essentials for dining –a traditional bilo and fork. Bring these along as you may need it tonight!!!

Through this recreation we wish to take you back into the early days where relationships were built in the spirit of trust and friendship.

Ni Sa Bula, Welcome and Enjoy the Fiji Market Place.
